How can you become a member of the Ontario Parents of Visually Impaired Children?

There is no membership fee.

We have two categories of membership, voting members and non-voting members.

To be a voting member, you must be an Ontario resident and must be a parent or guardian of a child, youth or adult with blindness, low vision or deaf-blindness.

To be a non-voting member, you must be a Canadian resident who is not a parent or guardian of a child, youth, or adult with blindness, low vision or deaf-blindness.

 

What do I get if I become a member of OPVIC?

  • You will get put on our email mailing list to learn about upcoming events.
  • You will get to contact OPVIC to put you in touch with another parent, guardian or family member of a child, youth or adult with vision loss, to share tips and strategies.
  • You can offer to become a member of the OPVIC board.
  • You can get involved in OPVIC advocacy activities.
